Academy of Osseointegration launches new live webinar series titled 'You Ask! the Experts'

The Academy of Osseointegration (AO) will kick off a new live Webinar series called “You Ask! the Experts” on April 22, 2015, at 12:30 p.m. EDT. The premier, one-CE-credit webinar, “The Team Approach for Success: Implant Aesthetics—New Approaches, Limitations and Challenges,” will be led by Drs. Sonia Leziy and Brahm Miller.

AO is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider and designates this activity for one-hour of continuing education credit. The first webinar is free to AO members and $50 to nonmembers. “Those who were fortunate enough to attend our annual meeting already had the opportunity to learn from these renowned clinicians, but we understand that sometimes extenuating circumstances—such as school, work, or financial pressures—make it difficult to attend some years,” said AO President Dr. Russell Nishimura. “Our goal with these webinars is to share this scientific information beyond the meeting to ensure as many clinicians as possible have access to it.”

The webinar will be delivered in an interactive format that allows participants to exchange questions and ideas directly with its leaders in the last portion of the session.

Course objectives: Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
1. Recognize treatment planning and surgical problems and their impact on the restorative outcome for both teeth and implants
2. Review current procedures and materials used to alter bone levels and soft tissue quality and volume around teeth and implants
3. Discuss the role of immediate implant placement and restoration in guiding tissue form, recognizing the risks, while understanding the potential benefits
4. Explain definitive restoration and how to anticipate the restoring colleague's requirements
